December 20, 2005

CHENNAI, December 20, 2005 — Net-O2 Technologies, a leading provider of IP and Layer-2 protocol conformance test suites has announced the availability of Advanced IPv6 and DHCP Relay conformance test suites.

ATTEST IPv6 Advanced test suite validates for Neighbor Discovery Protocol and other more advanced features in a series of 250 test cases, apart from the 140 test cases already available as part of the IPv6 Basic conformance test suite. Multicast Listener Discovery (MLDv1/v2) support will be available in February 2006, as a separate test suite for multicast verification.

ATTEST DHCP Relay test suite verifies the processing of DHCP Client and Server messages, configuration of Relay Agent options and interoperability with BOOTP clients.

Net-O2 also announced that it has updated its MSTP, RSTP and VLAN test suites to latest versions of the IEEE standards. While the RSTP suite has been enhanced to test for conformance to IEEE 802.1D-2004, VLAN and MSTP suites have been updated to support IEEE 802.1Q-2003.

“We continue to see increased demand for IPv6 support in equipment. Net-O2 is committed to providing up-to-the-spec offerings that help its customers significantly shorten their testing time and reduce costs with Net-O2 ATTEST, since it is useful both during the unit testing and QA testing phases” said N. Muthukumaran, CEO, Net-O2 Technologies.
