Infrastructure Monitoring and Diagnostics

Monitoring and diagnostics for cloud & data center infrastructure

RETINA for Cloud & Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring & Diagnostics

Data Center and private cloud administrators face many challenges when monitoring the performance, security and availability of their IT infrastructure:

  • Dynamic nature of use of distributed loads and resources
  • Ensuring that traffic bottlenecks are identified and rectified
  • Handling impacts of sudden surge of user traffic and bandwidth needs
  • Traffic visibility for security, compliance and diagnostics

Retina is the only tool that administrators and operators really need to get a unified view of the infrastructure and predictive insight on potential degradation of services delivered.

RETINA overview

RETINA provides a unified view — covering the network (LAN+WAN) and server (compute and storage), enabling IT and DevOps teams, to easily manage and administer the infrastructure, both within and across multiple data centers. RETINA shows the live status of network and server infrastructure and gives comprehensive diagnostics.

RETINA presents a comprehensive dashboard of the status of all the entities, physical and virtual, tenant-wise along with real-time alerts, to support accurate decision making. When any problem is detected, it helps IT teams quickly troubleshoot performance issues with the help of live metrics correlation, detailed diagnostic information and historical trends.

RETINA provides early warning of degradations detected in the network. When thresholds are exceeded and potential SLA violations are likely to occur, RETINA notifies IT administrators in real-time, so that corrective actions can be initiated before failures occur.
