Veryx ATTEST MEF 14 Field Test solution provides service providers an easy and efficient Carrier Ethernet service assurance solution. ATTEST perform these tests from geographically separate locations, using a set of remote ATTEST probes. The ATTEST probes are controlled from a central ATTEST Server running on ST-1000.

Usage of ATTEST for field testing of MEF 14

Veryx solution tests compliance to MEF 14 as an ideal preparation for, but not as a replacement of, official MEF Certification performed by the approved MEF test lab.

Veryx ATTEST MEF 14 Field Test solution verifies Ethernet services for service performance and bandwidth profile attributes as specified by MEF 14 Abstract Test suite:

•  Bandwidth profile verification

•  One-way performance measurements for Jitter and Frame Loss

•  Round-trip performance measurements for Latency, Jitter, and Frame Loss

The tests are performed for all service types defined by MEF CE 1.0, namely Ethernet Private Line (EPL), Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) and Ethernet LAN (E-LAN) services

ATTEST MEF 14 FT software requires ATTEST Framework running on ST-1000 Server as the controller with required number of remote XC-1000 or XB-2000 probes.
