Veryx Technologies demonstrated ATTEST ERPS (G.8032) test solution in the EANTC interoperability testing event at the Carrier Ethernet World Congress 2011 held at Hotel Okura, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

ATTEST ERPS test suite running on Veryx XC-1000 platform was used to emulate test topologies for the Ethernet Ring Protection Switching tests. The ERPS (G.8032) tests demonstrated interoperability that involved verification of the Carrier Ethernet vendor equipment for link recovery in multiple ring scenarios.

Veryx recently completed a QuickTesting Device Validation at its Veryx Technology Center USA, for a leading industrial product manufacturer. Veryx performed independent verification of L2/L3 features (over 500 test cases) for multiple variants of the switches with a detailed analysis of the test results and consultancy on typical industry compliance. The customer was able to get comprehensive testing completed in a matter of days with in-depth analysis pin-pointing critical issues to be addressed.

Veryx announces the release of its GA version of the ATTEST ERPS Test Solution. The ATTEST ERPS Test Solution verifies for conformance, functionality and performance verification of Ethernet ring protection switching (ERPS) functionality in Mobile backhaul networks. The test solution had been recently tested for interoperability with other leading vendor devices by EANTC.

Veryx Technologies expands its presence in the US through its Technology Center in Philadelphia. The new Technology Center includes a full-fledged network testing laboratory to enable network equipment providers to verify their implementations.
