CHENNAI, Jan 18, 2009 — Net-O2 Technologies announces release of new range of IPv6 tests for Performing Functional and Conformance verification of L2/L3 switches and routers.

Net-O2 ATTEST-XP IPv6 test suites are Functional test suites that perform verification for functionality, scalability and robustness of IPv6 protocols. Net-O2 ATTEST-XP is based on the Net-O2 SwitchTester technology – and supports a newer architecture that delivers more versatile test capabilities.

Net-O2 ATTEST-XP IPv6 suites have more than 100 tests cases for verifying IPv6 forwarding and OSPFv3. Net-O2 also released a set of IPv6 Conformance test suites, thus offering a complete set of IPv6 based routing protocols. ATTEST-CTS OSPFv3 verifies for conformance to IETF RFC 2328, 2740, ATTEST-CTS BGP4+ verifies for conformance to IETF RFC 4271 and ISISv6 verifies for conformance to IETF RFC 1195, 3719, 3847, 5803, ISO-10589:2002(E).

Other IPv6 test suites from Net-O2 Technologies include ATTEST-CTS IPv6, ATTEST-CTS PIM-SMv6, ATTEST-CTS PIM-DMv6 and ATTEST-CTS MLD. Together with other Layer-2 test suites for RSTP, MSTP, VLAN and LACP, Net-O2 provides complete solution for verification of L2/L3 switches and routers.
