Technical Architect- Veryx platforms


The Technical Architect is a key member of the Platform team and is responsible for the overall technical design and development of the Veryx platform. The Technical Architect works as a team member along with the Project Manager, Product Marketing and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Work jointly with Product Marketing to produce a technical specification for development and systems integration requirements
    • Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
    • Complete/oversee custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
    • Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
    • Manage development designs across multiple projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
    • Participate in internal projects as required

      Skills / experience:

      Candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in embedded technologies and be able to cope with  dynamic business environments. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced manner. Candidate qualifications are:

        • B.E. or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred
        • Strong presentation, writing and communication skills in public and private meeting forums
        • Good knowledge and understanding of Linux OS internals
        • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
        • Hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols, Kernel/device driver programming
        • Thought leadership in emerging technologies, and prototyping
        • Demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
        • Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
        • Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with in the ecosystem
        • 4-6 years of relevant experience in development
        • 2-3 years of Linux device driver implementation experience
        • Ability to work in team oriented environments


        • Experience with Network processors such as Cavium or Tilera
        • Experience with Intel DPDK
